The Mothers’ Milk Bank collects, screens, pasteurises and distributes donated human milk to infants and mothers in need. It supports mothers who are unable to supply their own milk at the time of their baby’s birth. It supports mothers who encounter difficulties with lactation at a later stage of their child’s development and may require support to maintain a breast milk supply until able to return to fully breastfeeding their baby.
Paradise Kids is a Gold Coast Children’s Charity founded in 1996 to help children learn
life-skills to deal with grief through death, loss or illness. Whether the loss is the death or
approaching death of a parent, grandparent or sibling, grief through the stress of separation

I remember years ago when I volunteered in East Timor seeing many international aid organisations. There were literally rows of organisations and amongst the worlds biggest humanitarian crusaders was a little run down AUSTRALIAN office/surgery- The Fred Hollows foundation.
It still brings tears to my eyes. Proud to be an Australian. I am here to tell you they are creating miracles all over the world. A majority of their work is actually with the indigenous Australians.Thank you to all the team at the foundation, Fred must be so proud!
